Eat Chicken Wraps Is Fair Even In Fowl Weather

It’s early January and many of us are trying hard not to break our ambitious dietary resolutions. Luckily you can still enjoy great street food AND maintain a healthy diet thanks to Eat Chicken Wraps. This great little food cart is hard to miss with the giant chickens wrapped on the cart. Being located right by the Vancouver Art Gallery doesn’t hurt either.

Eat Chicken Wraps has been open just over a year and are one of the few food carts in the city that are open seven days a week, year round. They also stay open late till 9:00 or 10:00 p.m. daily. As if that weren’t enticing enough, Eat Chicken Wraps uses Halal Chicken that is organic and free range and de-boned by hand daily. They then roast the chicken on a vertical roaster, resulting in beautifully charred, moist meat.

Caribbean Eats Hit The Vancouver Streets

There’s a new round of food trucks and carts hitting the streets of Vancouver and they’re being led by The Reef Runner, a welcome new addition that specializes in authentic Caribbean dishes.  The Reef Runner is owned and operated by The Reef Caribbean Restaurant, a Vancouver institution for 14 years that has a strong following on the local scene.  The truck itself is bright and colourful and hard to miss, and their location near Jack Poole Plaza offers views that will take your breath away.

New Foodie Adventures – US East Coast

Hi everyone! We’re almost on the home stretch of the New Foodie Adventures. We have done pretty much most of the United States, starting from the Pacific Coast and working our way east. We hope you continue to follow us on this tour as we wrap up the east coast and swing back to Canada next week.

After all, you are the best source of knowledge when it comes to street food in your area. While we do have contact with food truck vendors, you are the ones interacting with them on the ground. You know where the trucks are, and where the best street food is. That’s why we need your help.

Every week, we’ll be posting which city we’re working on next! How can you get involved? Easy. All you need to do is fill out the name of the street cart, its current location, and any contact info for the cart. Anyone who contributes something to their city’s database will be credited as a contributor on Eat St.’s blog and social media channels. (more…)

New Foodie Adventures – US South

Hi everyone! June is finally here, and that means summer is on the horizon. For Eat St., this means more food trucks will be out and rolling on your city streets. Why not go out and grab some new dishes?

We know you have a passion and an interest in street food. As much as we are involved in the street food movement, information is most reliable when local foodies, such as yourselves, are on the scene. You have the greatest knowledge of where food trucks are in your city, and what the best menu items are, too.
