Eat St. Film Crew in Portland!

We’re super happy to be coming back to Portland for the last leg of our US tour of Season 2 filming of Eat St.  We’ve saved the best city for last so let’s show North America how Portland supports its food cart scene.  We will be filming with the carts all day (8:30 – 6pm) and are encouraging people to come down for lunch between 12-2pm.

Just a reminder to all involved, please don’t wear any clothing with logos other than the truck involved and best to avoid black and white stripes.  Also, to our special guests, please introduce yourself to our crew – they are really nice but they are busy and may not have noticed that you’ve arrived.

Now to our schedule:

We will be heading over to EURO TRASH to munch on some Mediterranean inspired food with a sloppy American twist.  Charles Thomas will be our wonderful host for the day at SE 43rd & Belmont and you can interact with him online here: @EuroTrashCart

We also have a special guest each day with our carts, helping to provide the local food authority for your city.  On Monday we will have the talented Allison Jones from Portland Monthly’s Eat Beat.  Follow her here: @allisonejones

We are going to be in THE DOG HOUSE taking care of man’s best friend: our stomach.  Filming the creative and energetic Timber Adamson who will be serving us from a dog dish at NE Alberta between 21st and 2nd.  You can interact with her online here: @thedoghousepdx or on The Dog House Facebook Page

And making a return visit to our show, a veteran of the game, the voice of Portland’s Food Carts, Brett Burmeister!  *the internet cheers* Follow him here: @PDXfoodcarts

Finally, we are going have a special midweek treat prepared for us at THE SWAMP SHACK by the incomparable Trey Corkern, who will introduce us to his religion: The Holy Trinity of Cajun Cooking on SW 5th & Stark.

This page is new on twitter so let’s get him some followers:

Joining us there will be your Yelp Portland Community Manager and Food Writer, Don Bourassa for his second appearance on Eat St!

You can interact with us directly via twitter @eatsttweet – we’ll be sure to hit you back as soon as we can.  Also, if you have any cell phone pictures, or Facebook photo albums please let us know, we like to spread the word and promote your scene.  If you want more information about us to blog about, please visit our website. Oh, and if you don’t already have it, download our North America-wide street food locator app.

Thank you all so much for being a part of this shoot next week, we here at Eat St. really love what we do and we know you love the same things as us: Fun and Food.  Tell your friends, bring a 6 pack and come get some grub.

We’ll see you on the street next week!
