Houston, We Have A Food Truck

Eat St. returns to Food Network Canada on Saturday, November 22nd at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT with two brand new episodes. Come along for the ride as we visit seven cities across the U.S. in our quest to bring you the most daring and delicious street food around.

EPISODE 1: MONSTER TRUCKS

Saturday, November 22nd at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT

First up, we’re trucking to Orlando for globally inspired gourmet cuisine with the Curbside Chef truck. Crowd favourites include a Filipino inspired, citrus baked tilapia, served whole with basmati rice. Next, we’re cruising to Orange County for mammoth mouthwatering burgers at the Burger Monster truck! Best selling beasts include the Mighty Melt, a bacon cheddar burger loaded with tempura fried onion rings. Then we’re curbside in Austin for fresh, flavor packed vegan tacos with the Vegan Nom trailer! These guys are dishing out marvellous and meatless combos like maple-miso glazed sweet potato with salsa verde and avocado! And finally, we roll to San Antonio for savoury ‘n spicy Moroccan sandwiches at the Wheelie Gourmet truck. Best sellers include the saffron and lemon chicken and a spicy ground beef Kefta with tzatziki sauce and feta!

EPISODE 2: HOUSTON, WE HAVE A FOOD TRUCK

Saturday, November 22nd at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT

We’re rocketing to Houston for hip eats in the streets with the Eatsie Boys bus! Biggest hits include a Lamb ‘n Feta burger with fresh greens and soy vinaigrette. Next, we’re trucking to Knoxville for sensational southern street food with the Savory and Sweet truck like their homemade cinnamon pumpkin ravioli with candied walnuts! Then we’re back in Orlando for ingenious international cuisine at the Cafe Rouge truck! Here you can dine on a British Shepherd’s pie made with a slow cooked, red wine infused black angus beef filling, topped with cheesy mashed potatoes. And last, but certainly not least, we roll to Denver for a tasty bite of Filipino fare with the Orange Crunch cart, where signature dishes include a Bison empanada with shredded papaya and fried egg!
